We took Luke to the Children's museum today for the first time. It was a two hour tour that Buddy the Elf described best when he described how he arrived in New York, "I passed through the seven levels of the Candy Cane forest, through the sea of swirly twirly gum drops, and then I walked through the Lincoln Tunnel". That's what it felt like. Luke, on the other hand, adjusted just fine to all the excitement.
He first went grocery shopping.

He scooped up some peas,

and threw them on the floor.

Went into the noodle forest,

and came out quite confused.

Played the xylophone made of wrenches.

Painted rocks with water.

Back into the noodle forest.

Down the slide.

Over the air vent.

Climbed on the foam shapes.

Played in the kitchen.

Picked flowers in the garden.

Found a giant bouncy ball.

Painted a house.

Tried to play at the light up sand table. (There was a girl next to him that took all his sand.)

And spent a long time staring at the wall that was covered in hanging cds.

After zoning out to the cds we knew it he was officially overwhelmed and decided it was time to go take a nap. I'm sure we'll go back soon!
