Luke had his 6 month checkup a week or so ago. I was surprised to hear that he only weighed 15 pounds 8 ounces. So he dropped into the 10th percentile. His length on the other hand was great. He was 27 1/4 inches putting him in the 75th percentile. I realize his weight is low but I truly believe it is because he is so busy! I promise this boy eats, but that is the ONLY time he is still. I thought this picture at Nicolie's baby shower described him well. Instead of taking a moment to look at the camera he was busy reaching over and pulling Nicolie's hair. He did some of his best work in the doctor's office. When I laid him down he reached over and started ripping the paper he was laying on. As I was getting his diaper off he managed to get the whole roll and throw it on the floor. He then proceeded to pee on the wall and pulled the stethoscope out of the doctor's ears.
He also decided that rolling will no longer do. He has started crawling and he is getting faster every day. We stopped by his Grandma and Grandpa's house on Thursday and apparently that was just he audience he needed. We missed the first time on camera but he was willing to do a repeat performance of his new found skill.

Kayla was (and continues to be) always in the lower percentiles for weight too. She is such an active little girl -with a love of walking and racing and "hiking" and being outdoors. It sounds like she and Luke will get along great! :)
