Luke was overwhelmed with all the pumpkins. He could not possibly smile because he knew he had such a big job ahead of him... He had to pick a pumpkin. 
First he tried to feel every pumpkin in arms reach.
But the choice was still too hard...
So he tasted all the pumpkins.
Finally he gave up and just played with the grass.
And then he decided to eat that too. 
We thought he'd had enough to eat so we took him to look at the animals. 
And we ended up buying this chick. Four of them actually. What?! That's right, we bought four chicks. They may be cute now but since they will grow up to be chickens we gave them to Luke's Grandma. 
We ended up bringing home a pumpkin too. We thought he must like the one he drooled on the most.

So cute!! I loved the pumpkin pictures.... We'll have to get pine trees and pine cones for Christmas. : )
I love "pumpkin pictures." We haven't taken those this year yet. I'm not sure we'll make it to the pumpkin patch...
