Robert and I took Luke to the zoo for the first time today. We met up with his friend Ella and her mom Erin.

(It was so strange taking pictures of Ella because she would actually look at the camera. I am pretty sure she was even posing here by kicking out her leg.)

Luke and Ella had a great time catching up since they last saw each other and talking about the animals.

We looked at the Orangutans.

He really liked the Spider Monkey that ran by him.

Dad took him to get a closer look at the flamingos.

Clearly too busy to look at the camera. Keep in mind that is was out first trip to the zoo and we had lots of looking at things to do.

Luke saw the Zebras eating lunch and that reminded him that he was hungry too.

So we stopped for a lunch break and watched the zebras.

After lunch there was more to see.

Nothing like a beautiful Warthog.

Luke was quite interested in the Warthogs and wanted a closer look.

Whenever he saw an animal he was sure to point it out to us so we didn't miss it.

All the animal searching finally got the better of him. Somewhere between the birds and the petting zoo he crashed.

We still took him to see the monkeys,

the wallabies,

and the elephants.

Robert was sure Luke wanted to go see the Stingrays.

Luke had other plans. He was out!
