The fire pit

Robert and I built a fire pit in the backyard last weekend. We took Luke out on Thursday night for his first campfire(?) fire pit fire (?) whatever you would call the situation. He was intrigued by the fire and we have a long way to go in teaching him that fire is hot.

Robert enjoyed trying to restrain him while roasting a marshmallow.

He is a big fan of graham crackers so that kept him busy while we roasted marshmallows.

mmmmm....s'mores... Someday Luke will know how wonderful a graham cracker is when it is part of a s'more.
